Dim Sum Play ("we") is a free online games site at https://dimsumplay.com, run by BeePOS LLC. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and how you can manage your data.

1. Play without signing up

Every game can be played straight away. You don't need an account and you don't need to give us any personal information.

2. What we collect

When you play

  • To keep track of your rounds and scores, an anonymous guest account is created the first time you finish a round. It is identified only by a random name and a sign-in token; it holds no name or contact details.
  • Your scores, how many rounds you played and for how long, and your progress in Myth Defense.

When you create an account

  • The username and password you choose. Passwords are stored only as a salted hash; we never see your password itself.
  • An email address, if you choose to add one. We use it only to send verification codes and password-reset mails.

To run the site

  • Where you came from: for example Google Search, TikTok, YouTube or a shared link, and the first page you opened. We keep only the referring site's domain (such as tiktok.com), never the full address.
  • To stop abuse (such as floods of requests), the server briefly uses your IP address to count requests, but it does not store IP addresses in our database or logs.

3. Advertising and cookies

  • We show ads through third-party services such as Google AdSense, which keep the games free.
  • Ad providers, including Google, may use cookies or similar technologies to show ads based on your visits to this and other websites. To learn how Google uses this data, see https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites .
  • You can turn off personalized ads in Google's Ad Settings (https://adssettings.google.com), and manage personalized ads from other providers at https://www.aboutads.info .
  • Where the law requires it (for example in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland), we ask for your consent before cookies are used for personalized ads, and you can change your choice at any time.
  • Apart from ads, we use no third-party tracking or analytics tools. We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information.

4. Data stored on your device

The site uses your browser's local storage to keep your language, best scores, game progress, the virtual coins in our games and your sign-in on your device. Ad providers may also store cookies on your device (see section 3). Clearing your browser's site data removes all of this.

5. How we use data

  • To run the games: saving scores and progress, showing leaderboards, and letting you carry on from another device.
  • To send the mails you ask for (verification codes, password resets).
  • To learn which games and channels people enjoy, so we can improve the site. We only look at overall numbers.

6. What others can see

The usernames and scores of registered accounts appear on game leaderboards. Guest accounts never do.

7. Third-party services

  • Amazon Web Services (USA): hosting, database and email.
  • Google AdSense: ads (see section 3).
  • Google Fonts: our fonts come from Google, which receives your IP address when they load.
  • When you use a share button (such as LINE, Facebook or X), you go to that service, and its own privacy policy applies.

8. Keeping and deleting data

We keep account data until you delete your account. You can do that yourself at any time: sign in, open your account panel and choose "Delete account" at the bottom. Once you confirm with your password, your account, scores, leaderboard places and game progress are deleted permanently, straight away. If you can't sign in, write to support@dimsumplay.com and we will help within 30 days.

9. Children

The site is suitable for players of all ages, but it is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. Children under 13 should add an email only with a parent's permission. If you are a parent and find that your child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

10. Where data is stored

Data is stored by Amazon Web Services in the United States. By using the site you understand that your data is processed there.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy; the "Last updated" date above will change when we do. Significant changes will be announced on the site.
