Myth Defense is a co-op tower defense game from Journey to the West: hold the town with Wukong and other heroes against wave after wave of demons. Play solo or team up with friends, and see how many waves you can survive. Free to play online on phone or computer, no download.
How to play
- Pick a hero: Wukong, Sword Saint, Wolf King, Fire Mage or Ice Mage. Play solo, or create a 2- or 4-player room and share the room code.
- Move: on a phone use the joystick on the left or tap the ground; on a computer left-click the ground.
- Fight with skills Q, W and the ultimate E. On a phone tap a skill to auto-aim at the biggest crowd, or drag to aim; on a computer press Q / W / E to cast at the mouse.
- Between waves, spend gold in the shop on potions and barricades, enhance your weapon, put on the gear monsters drop and upgrade buildings.
- Hold the main town for as many waves as you can: a boss comes every 5th wave, and the run ends only when the town falls.

- How many people can play together?
- Up to 4. Create a 2- or 4-player room and share the 4-digit room code, or play solo.
- Is my run saved?
- Solo runs are saved after every cleared wave: you can carry on from the lobby later. Team matches are not saved.
- Which hero is best?
- Each plays differently: Wukong hits hard up close, the mages control crowds from range and the Wolf King heals as he fights. All skills hit an area, so pull monsters together before you use them.
- Is Myth Defense free?
- Yes. Myth Defense is free to play on Dim Sum Play: open the page and start.
- Do I need to download anything or sign up?
- No. It runs in your browser with no download and no sign-up. Signing in only keeps your scores on your account.
- Can I play on my phone?
- Yes. It works in the browser on phones, tablets and computers.
- Are my scores saved?
- Your best score is kept on this device. Sign in to keep it on your account, carry on from another phone and appear on the leaderboard.
